Clinical Depression is defined as a depressed mood accompanied by a loss of interest and a loss of pleasure in most activities. T his experience is accompanied by a lack of energy, feelings of hopelessness, and having diminished pleasure in things that were once enjoyed in the past. To the clinically depressed, daily activities such as getting up out of bed and getting dressed may seem like daunting tasks.

We believe in working with our patients to find an effective path out of depression. We utilize a number of different therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness. We can coordinate treatment with your doctor if medication is needed. personalized to the particular needs of each of our individual patients. A firm base of consistent emotional support runs through all of our treatment methods, and we strive to assist our patients to resolve their depression.
